Independent network since 1999

Data sovereignty comes with free infrastructure

For associations, artists, companies and organisations — hosting, mail, domains and connectivity based on open standards

Manifesto

all2all is an independent hosting provider based in Brussels. Managed by the association Moving Art Studio, all2all remains financially independent and free from advertising and political pressure.

The name all2all literally means communication from everybody to everybody. It reflects a simple idea: Internet services should remain open, understandable, and technically controlled by those who operate them.

Unlike many providers depending entirely on large commercial cloud ecosystems, all2all runs its own infrastructure directly in Brussels datacenters.

Built entirely on free and open source software, the all2all network combines long-term GNU/Linux, e-mail and IP network experience with strong commitments to privacy and autonomy.

Services

all2all provides practical Internet services with transparent pricing, flexible options, and direct technical support.

Many digital services promise more privacy, more simplicity or more control, while still preserving the same underlying dependency.

Replacing one black box with another changes very little.

The Internet was designed differently, around open standards, independent servers and interoperable services that anyone can operate, understand and connect.

That original logic remains an essential condition for digital autonomy.

Design and management for dedicated servers

We also support organisations, associations and companies that want to go further with their digital infrastructure.

all2all is listed on Debian’s Debian Consultants page for Belgium and can work both on our own network and directly at customer sites for more advanced, tailor-made technical projects.

Virtualisation, high availability, load balancing, dedicated mail servers, Nextcloud infrastructures, network architecture, monitoring, service migration and modernisation of existing environments: we can help design, configure, optimise and operate these systems day to day.

We favour solutions based on open standards, understandable architectures and systems that customers can really master and evolve over time.

Case studies

Knowledge becoming invisible

Over the years, all2all has repeatedly encountered situations where valuable public knowledge slowly became difficult to access, or disappeared entirely.

A social association may spend years building expertise in street work, publishing reports, documenting field experience and creating collective knowledge intended for public benefit. Yet when this material gradually moves onto closed social media platforms, it becomes difficult to search, difficult to cite and eventually almost invisible.

In other cases, organisations end their activity while their digital archives still retain clear historical, social or political value. When a movement, association or cultural initiative loses its domain name, hosting or technical maintenance, years of documents, debates, publications and public positions can suddenly vanish together with the infrastructure that carried them.

What disappears is often not only a website, but part of a collective memory.

These situations raise broader questions about digital continuity, open standards and long-term accessibility of public knowledge, questions that also form the background of projects such as Tango Time Travel.

Advanced tools

Aider AI, a development assistant directly in your terminal

Aider AI is a free software tool that lets developers work with AI models directly inside an existing development project. Unlike assistants locked inside a web interface, Aider runs in the terminal, close to the source code, Git, real files and the project history.

It can:

  • edit several files at once
  • suggest fixes or refactorings
  • help migrate older PHP, Python or WordPress projects
  • generate documentation
  • assist with scripts, APIs or Hugo sites
  • explain existing code
  • work together with Git

At all2all, we see this kind of tool as an interesting extension of Unix and open-source culture: interoperable, transparent tools that can be used locally without imposing a closed platform or proprietary environment.

Aider can work with different AI models, local or remote, and fits naturally into shell, SSH, Git and Debian/Linux oriented workflows.

For advanced users, this opens a more direct and autonomous way to work with AI, close to their infrastructure and real files, instead of inside an inaccessible black box.
